Kseniya Simonova presented new sand story

Kseniya Simonova presented her new sand animation film “Djurdjevdan” (St.George’s Day) devoted to tragic Serbian events and Serbian will to life. The premiere of the video is devoted to Kseniya’s exhibition

presentation in Serbia. Over  50 sand art pictures will be presented in the biggest cities of Serbia till summer 2017.

Exhibition of Kseniya Simonova’s sand animation drawings is opened in Serbia till summer!

The Lady of the Sand Kseniya Simonova has brought her pictures to  Serbia. The exhibition of big pictures drawn with sand will be travelling in galleries of Serbia till summer. The name of exhibition is "Sand Story - Live, Serbia!".

It was opened in Belgrade, the capital of Serbia, in the end of February, in the central gallery "Progress". Kseniya personally opened the exhibition, and performed live in a concert in the National Theatre of Belrade. After that she was received by the Minister of Culture and Information of Serbia who congratulated her with the Exhibition and performance.

Kseniya Simonova - in memory of His Majesty King Rama IX of Thailand

​A few days ago sad news came from Thailand. His Majesty the King Rama the Ninth of Thailand died aged 89... He was the longest governing King in the history of Thailand, and the longest governing king in the world in modern history. An entire epoche. 4 years ago sans artist Kseniya Simonova together with Thai Royal TV created a sand animation film "Long Live the King". She also performed for the Royal family at the Anniversary of His Majesty and was warmly received by them.

Sand animation film “Angel on the Seashore” Kseniya Simonova as a tribute to little Aylan Kurdi

This sand animation was created with the music of a very talented Italian composer Giuseppe Morgante and ProQuiQuortett as a tribute to a 3-year old Syrian boy Aylan Kurdi who died on 2nd September 2015, a year ago. The idea of creating tribute was born in the head of Giuseppe who devoted his music piece to this tragedy, he called his creation "Come, Aylan", then Giuseppe connected renown sand artist Kseniya Simonova. She listened to the music, and studied the story of Aylan, and then created a film based on his life and death inspired by this music.
